Purchasing Admin

*What we're looking for*

We are looking for a resourceful and purpose-driven Purchasing Admin with a passion for people, product, process, and performance. Someone with the energy and determination to find the highest quality and best prices for all materials to be purchased. This team player will nurture key partnerships by upholding professionalism, punctuality, and orderliness in his/her daily work.

*Responsibilities*

Minimal travel is required between NCR and Region IV-A to attend meetings/trainings, and/or to support tea ---------- mbers.

- Reduce production costs by sourcing new suppliers on a regular basis
- Compare vendors and negotiate prices based on the amount of product or materials required
- Prepare purchase orders based on menu plan and send order requests to suppliers
- Update records and follow up with vendors to check if orders are being processed
- Liaise between suppliers and site managers regarding schedule of delivery
- Monitor inventory stock in sites by checking when appropriate orders have arrived and determining what needs to be reordered
- Regularly interact with suppliers and compile cost reports for invoices
- Keep records and create reports regarding supply costs to present to Management
- Provide additional support for team members as needed

*Qualifications*

- At least two years of study in Business Administration, Finance, or any related course
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in production planning or inventory management with at least one year experience in customer service
- Candidates with previous experience in food service industry are strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong negotiation and numeracy skills
