Pure Digital is looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization Expert!
As a CRO Expert, you will use a mix of creativity and strong analytical skills to identify website optimization opportunities for your clients, and then develop and execute strategy to turn those ideas into an optimization and testing plan. A CRO Specialist should have a strong understanding of website content management systems, including major ecommerce solutions, and should have enough statistical and analytical abilities to help us understand data in a way that results in actionable suggestions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Performing audits of clients’ web analytics implementations and making recommendations to ensure accurate tracking/tagging is in place.
- Using qualitative and quantitative sources of data to develop and execute conversion rate optimization strategies and testing plans for our clients across multiple channels.
- Developing hypotheses and build and execute A/B or multivariate tests according to the optimization strategy and testing plan.
- Marrying your knowledge of ideal audience pathing to develop a conversion rate optimization plan that will convert relevant users as we acquire them.
- Partnering with our internal design, SEO and development teams to recommend changes based on winning test results.
- Tackling challenges and solving complex problems on a daily basis.

- Use an iterative approach to optimization, continuously taking test results and data into account in formulating new tests and hypotheses.
- Help create initial, quarterly, and monthly client reports based on test results and other ongoing initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and new product offerings to stay up to speed and ahead of the competition.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the CRO team’s processes and strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide ongoing recommendations to help clients deliver on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements.
- Create and execute deliverables that help inform the ideal experiences for users. This could include items such as website audits, web analytics reviews, user journeys analysis, heuristic reviews, wireframes, information architecture reviews, task flows, user scenarios and persona development.
- Help drive the success of client engagements, as the subject matter expert on a number of conversion optimization & UX engagements. Understand the entire process: from KPI definition to execution to insight discover.
- As part of a specialized CO/UX team, assume accountability and ownership of program successes and failures for several client accounts
- Conduct UX research through both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Apply knowledge of web analytics, user segments and audiences as they relate to the optimization process
- Be able to translate and communicate testing results and data-driven recommendations into an effective message, continually creating insights and value for clients.
- Perform best practices for departmental procedures that facilitate workflow, intra- and inter-departmental communication; contribute to the development and improvement of processes that support the alignment of quality, scalability, and capacity of the team
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
- Experience with lead generation conversion rate optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and reporting skills
- A diverse background in areas such as analytics, web development, website testing, and digital marketing
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated capacity and willingness to learn.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skillsAbility to type 50+ wpm.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of staff
- Highly proficient in web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of one or more testing platforms (e.g. Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.)
- Experience reporting on success/failure of optimization efforts
- Experienced creating wireframes and functional/interaction specifications
- Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Advanced Excel)
- A sound understanding of the mathematics behind effective testing.
- Strong digital proficiency, knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a bonus
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing; positive customer service experience, including managing difficult situations and difficult people
