Position Summary:

This a contract to full-time position on the Thrive Demand Generation team will work closely with our SEO Specialists in implementing outreach strategies to improve the organic search results for Thrive's clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with relevant publishers, bloggers, and industry experts to promote our client's sites.

Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience building links
Experienced with SEO tools like SEMRush, aHrefs, BuzzSumo
Knowledge of SEO and "white hat" link building methodology
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical and research skills
Self-motivated
Be excited to learn
Excellent English
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Past agency experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

Must have, or develop a good network of blogs and publishers to leverage
Manage link building campaigns for various clients, in collaboration with the account manager
Audit potential and existing links, and make recommendations
Where necessary, assist in link detoxification efforts
Develop and manage link-building, content creation, and blogger outreach strategies
Create new on-site content as well as content for partners and blogger outreach initiatives
Track, analyze and report organic search performance — from internal and external link audits to SERPs to organic site traffic and conversions
Stay abreast of the latest link building and SEO developments and search engine trends
Develop tactics and repeatable methodologies to successfully acquire brand mentions and links for a variety of niches
Strategize, coordinate, build, execute, monitor, report and analyze link building campaigns for our clients
Import and organize influencers and websites within Buzzstream or similar tool
To search for and identify opportunities across the Web for our clients to gain exposure
To promote our incredible content to other websites and across social media platforms
To contact and build relationships with other websites and blog owners on behalf of our clients
To create and develop emails that convey our client’s value proposition and engage recipients to the point they want to promote our brands.
Monitor inboxes and respond in a timely manner
To stay abreast of new link building strategies and regularly provide new tactics and ideas to the team
To review outreach and response templates to ensure messages adhere to the client’s brand and quality standards
To communicate effectively and consistently via email, telephone, and social media to optimize your link placement rates

Skills:

Must be very familiar with link building methodology and know the value of external and internal linking
Good organizational ability for collecting and keeping track of link building opportunities
Great communication and outreach skills
The ability to prospect for link building opportunities, even in fairly obscure categories
The ability to build content and other assets that act as link bait
