We are hiring for immediate placement - on a REMOTE part-time basis so you can work from home.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketer with a strong focus on content writing as that will be one of their main responsibilities. The individual will need to be results-focused, a creative wordsmith with a strong track record of producing original, memorable, and convincing copy for a wide range of audiences across different platforms and channels including social media.
This role will allow flexible working hours and the number of days can be negotiated which will determine salary.
You must have excellent English proficiency, you’re conscientious of and pay attention to detail. You obsess over grammar, avoid misspellings, abhor awkward sentence structure, and hate muddled messages. You don’t need to be edited or have someone proof your copy.
We are looking for someone with a technical background who can write about topics in the SaaS industry in particular (technologies in the digital signage industry, social media, and SaaS software).
In addition, we are looking for someone who has marketing experience and can perform a range of marketing tasks including website content changes,
If you’re the person we’re looking for, you will be responsible for researching and developing inspiring, innovative and convincing campaigns that connect our brands with people and achieve the business objectives with style and flair.
You will have the autonomy you need to project-manage your own, tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
You must possess the language skills required to craft compelling headlines and openings, transitions, and conclusions, make complex concepts simple and easy to understand, be able to empathize with your reader while fully embracing the user experience and customer journey.
Main Responsibilities:
Content/Writing
- Write engaging and informative blog articles with a focus on SEO fundamentals
Website
- Make content changes to our websites
- Update or add new images as required
Email
- Create and manage
- Create and manage
- new acquisitions
- upsell/cross-sell to existing clients
Social Media
- Create, Schedule and Manage Social Media Posts on all platforms
- Manage and Respond to DM’s from Social Media
Reporting
- Generate a variety of basic reports
If you’re considering this role, here’s what we expect from you:
- 3-5 years of copywriting in a marketing communications environment
- Advertising/promotional agency experience is strongly preferred
- Technology background is strongly preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Clear, concise and highly engaging writing skills
- Thorough knowledge of Google Suite
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other cloud-based image editing tools is an advantage, but not a necessity
- Experience in using CMS systems such as WordPress
- Knowledge of the creative briefing process, working with graphic designers, and the revision process
- Experience with social media and SEO copy is a must
- Knowledge of writing for commercials and promotional campaigns is an essential part of this role
- The ability to multitask and work cross-functionally on several diverse projects at once is something that won’t just come in handy, it’s necessary to work with us
- Other duties may include research and data entry
- Sample work or references must be included with resume submissions.
- Expectation: at least 5-10 articles per week (min 500 words per article)
Home Office Requirements:
- Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have their own working computer.
- Webcam: For meeting purposes
- Software: Zoom/Skype/Google Drive
- Must be comfortable in working with a time tracking software
