looking for a driven and excellent multitasker to fill the Content Writer and Social Media Specialist position. You have a good eye for detail and strive for perfection in all you do. This position will allow you to grow and develop as part of a small but growing team of dedicated people.
Duties:
* Oversee the publishing of blogs, conceive article ideas, research and write blog posts
* Write copy for press releases, press kits, media kits, case studies, staff bios, and email marketing campaigns
* Act as media liaison and continually work towards building the company's profile.
* Remain consistent with a set social media/blog publishing schedule
* Utilize appropriate tagging and capitalize on relevant target keywords for SEO purposes
* Work towards achieving SEO benchmarks and targets.
* Maintain all social media activities (e.g. Twitter, Facebook ETC.)
* Edit, proofread and fact-check both print and online copy prior to distribution
* Create infographic's and meme's to distribute information about the company's operations in creative and unique ways.
* Coordinate and run social media contests and promotions as required.
* Track and report social media, SEO and blog performance.
* Build and maintain engagement programs taking care of a strict advertisement scheduling on Facebook (i.e.: "Likes" on a number of company's web properties) and other Social Media platforms
*Monitor Email Marketing campaigns by creating the content, tracking performance, managing the email list and making recommended changes
*Performance management of each campaign's specific for each web properties
Requirements:
All requirements are based on 2 plus years of experience, but are not limited to the following:
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the writing style, message and tone unique to the brand and create copy that demonstrates the brand's personality, ensures consistency and adherence to brand and style standards, spelling and grammar.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Social Media tools and principles and apply these principles to practical applications.
• Experience writing copy with a solid understanding of keyword practices, research, analytics, email subject lines, calls to action, etc.
• Adaptable writing skills to suit the needs of various purposes.
