Job Title: Data Scientist
Hours: Prefer Full-time, but willing to work on a part-time basis for the right candidate

Job overview: We have a variety of data analysis ---------- itially, we'd like your help designing a method for ranking local home service businesses based upon publicly available review data. Beyond this, we'd like your help designing a system for monitoring revenue data in real-time that will notify us of data anomalies (ie. a partner suddenly paying out more or less revenue than we would expect). We will also be looking for someone that can provide guidance regarding web analytic information and how it corresponds with revenue changes. Basically, we're looking for someone that loves crunching data, building algorithms, and thinking outside the box.

About Us:
We operate several hundred websites in a wide variety of industries. We are a small team with several distributed team members and hundreds of part-time freelancers.


Ideal Candidate:
- Very Strong Python & SQL skills
- Writing efficient and elegant code with plenty of comments :)
- Experience with Selenium and web-scraping
- Self Starter
- Willingness to build out from public sources of code (instead of starting from scratch with everything)
- Believer and contributor to open source
- Experience in the following is a plus, but not necessary:
