Chinese Speaking Web Developer (A Hong Kong Company, Works Home Based)

A web developer roles is to create reliable, high-performing and fully functional websites. The role is responsible for coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best program development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using the appropriate languages ( e.g. HTML/CSS practices, javascript, PHP, etc. )
Decide on the best technologies and languages for the project
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design from mockups
Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
Fix bugs in existing projects
Test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
To ensure security and backup of the website
Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built

Requirements:
Fluent in Chinese speaking
Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent work experience
3~5 yr experience in web development, particularly in the areas of corporate and e-commerce websites, familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks
Highly Experience in WordPress and WooCommerce (Elemetor is a must and bootstrap knowledge is a plus)
Expert in writing front-end code that’s responsive, cross-browser compatible, and maintainable
Solid experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and PHP (MySQL is a plus)
Strong Knowledge on Front End and Back End
Strong Commitment to Deadlines
Ability to solve and fix issues with less supervision
Work from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm Hong Kong time. One hour Lunch time
Basic salary plus quarterly bonus
