Graphics Designer for box Die-Cuts and Product Inserts

We are currently looking for a die-cut designer/illustrator who can create unique product die-cut designs.

The designs will mainly be used for business packaging and other print on demand products. For the design process we will provide you with lists of ideas or samples. Your job will be to create designs in your own unique style, without copying any other person's work.

Sometimes, the work will be edits of existing die-cut packaging.

For this position we are offering a project-based salary and the opportunity of a long- term business relationship and you'll be working under the owner or with a team.

What we are looking for:

- A Designer/Illustrator
- Experience in the die-cut design creation requirements
- Experience in print design
- Skills in researching and a good feeling for new ideas
- Experience in Photoshop/Illustrator or other related software
- Responsible and reliable
- Good English communication skills

The work product will require:

- A document stating the font styles and sizes used
- Transparencies
- Complete and unlimited commercial use for the company (print and online)
- Separate files for the entire die-cut and each panel (boxes)
- Separate files for the entire card/insert and of each side

Compensation is relative to portfolio and experience and is part of the initial employment agreement with 30% paid at providing roughs or first files for proofs, if second proofs or roughs are required a second 30% will be paid with the balance upon final delivery of agreed-upon requirements.
