JOB OVERVIEW

I need a Virtual Assistant who will be able to help me with a variety of different tasks. In the big picture I need a person with:

- Expert skills in Wordpress and Photoshop
- Good skills in and knowledge about SEO
- At least medium skills in Excel

You need to be good in English in writing, and speaking is definitely a plus too. And you need to be willing to learn new skills that I will teach you, or read the articles, books and blog posts that I present to you.

Everything from 10+ to 40+ hours a week is interesting. And you’re welcome to apply even though you don’t possess all of the skills I’m looking for. Some of the tasks I can teach you, but you have to be a good developer, know a lot and have a lot of experience with Wordpress and Photoshop – and some experience with Excel.

The different tasks could be:

Wordpress
- Setting up domains and blogs with themes, plugins, widgets etc.
- Creating and adjusting/changing plugins, widgets and themes (development & programming)
- Managing a complete network of websites and blogs with most tasks it entails

Programming
I’m not a programmer myself, so this is just what I think is needed to be able to adjust/change and create plugins, widgets and themes. I have some big and some small ideas that need different skill levels.
- HTML
- CSS
- jQuery
- PHP
- Javascript

SEO
You don’t need to be an expert, but it’s a big plus if you have knowledge of how to do SEO, and what works doesn’t.
- On-Page Technical and Content optimization
- Off-Page link building using my guidelines

Webmaster
- Creating Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools account plus setting up the scripts
- Splittesting with Optimizely
- Other stuff we figure out along the way

English
- Excellent in writing and understanding
- Great if you are good speaking as well

Photoshop & Graphics
- Expert in Photoshop creating logos, banners and other design stuff for blogs, social media etc.

General assistant tasks
- Working in Excel creating sheets, tables and formulas, and making the stuff look nice and presentable
- Copywriting some articles and blogsposts, creating spin-texts etc.
- Maybe some tasks regarding optimizing my personal email and calendar to free up more of my time
