Wordpress, MySQL Database Engineer

We're in the process of redesigning a content heavy news website that will be moved into the Wordpress CMS platform.

The existing CMS is MySQL based but custom built on Ruby on Rails so we need a developer who can work with our design team in coming up with a migration strategy and then... implement that migration.

We have a Wordpress developer on staff who can do the heavy lifting on the theme and front-end integration, but need an engineer who can over see the theme development to make sure it adheres to the migration.

Needs Expert Levels of:
- MySQL
- Wordpress
- PHP
- Ruby on Rails (preferred)

If needed we can provide links and a snapshot of the old database for reference.
