Law Graduate, Paralegal or Junior Solicitor

The Position
The position available is for a part-time Law Graduate or Junior Solicitor working 16 hours per week, commencing June 2020.

This position will be based in the Philippines and you will have the flexibility to perform the role from home.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in learning and understanding the Australian Legal system. As the Australian Legal System is quite unique and complex, the successful candidate will be required to study and train in Australian Law. This will form the majority of the role for the initial 2 years. This presents a great opportunity learn while being paid. Once competency has been gained by the candidate, they will be given the opportunity to liaise and work directly with clients.

• A Law degree from a recognised education provider
• High attention to detail and excellent writing skills
• Ability to undertake research and legal reasoning
• Ability to articulate and communicate complex legal issues to non-lawyers (both internal and external parties)
• Basic I.T competency, including experience with Microsoft Office Word & Excel, Gmail.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality principles


Salary
PHP 30,000 monthly (prorata)
