Shopify Product Researcher

We have a very exciting role that will allow you to work from home, whilst still be a big valuable asset to our team!

Our ecommerce brand has seen significant growth over the last few months and now to keep up with the customer demand we need a product researcher to help us find more profitable items to sell.

We are in the baby niche, so initially we are only interested in baby products but as we have multiple stores, further down the line we will also need someone to research different niches.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, self motivated, ambitious and proactive with relevant product research experience to fill a long term position within our amazing ---------- will initially be a 1 month paid trial period and if successful will be a long term position.

Our product research method is EXTREMELY strict and needs to be adhered too 100%. We have very important criteria that each product has to hit before we even think about testing it with facebook advertising.

This makes our product research harder and more time consuming than most other businesses.

You will need to be very committed, willing to learn and persistent to make this work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Researching, finding and analysing profitable products to sell that match our criteria 100%.
2. Updating the product research google sheet tracker daily (Mon-Fri)
3. Being innovative and finding new ways to find new products.
4. Be available for weekly video calls to discuss products found.

Key Skills Required:

1. Must be Fluent in English in speaking and in writing.
2. A hard worker and dedicated
3. Be very proactive
4. Have a passion for learning and strive to grow
5. Must have previous product research experience
6. Must be familiar with Google Trends, Amazon, ebay, youtube and aliexpress.
7. Must be familiar with product spy tools (Droppoint, Adspy, thieve etc)

Training will be provided! PLUS - there is a possibility of profit share in addition to your monthly pay after a couple of ---------- nd your latest CV in word format to ----------

Include a covering letter, stating the role you are applying for and a paragraph explaining why you want this role and why you would be a good fit.

Stage 1 – Following the applications we will narrow down the candidates to 3 people. These 3 candidates will be asked to attend a video call to have a brief chat and be shown the full product research criteria.

Stage 2 – The candidates will then have 2 days to find products using our product research criteria.

Stage 3 – We will schedule another video call with each candidate to discuss their findings. We will assess products found based on quality and quantity. The person that finds the most products WILL NOT necessarily be hired. Our brand is all about HIGH QUALITY.

Stage 4 – We will hire 1 person to join our team.
