Looking for a Graphic Designer / Video Editor to make visual creative, including graphics, images, gifs and short video content. These graphics and images are intended for use in:
The ideal candidate will:
-Complete various types of “creative” including general graphics, infographics, hero images, gifs, branded background templates for text, and edited photos from photoshoots
-Batch produce content for Instagram, in advance, on a weekly basis; for example, content posted daily on Instagram will have been created a week in advance and save to the Google Drive account (will provide access).
-Export content in the requested format, such as file type, size of file, resolution, and image ratio; for example, content for
-Instagram should be square and some website images may require compression to optimize loading time
To be effective, the Graphic Designer / Video Editor should already have an understanding and familiarity with the following:
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere (or equivalent), After Effects (preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of Image compression, file size, file type, resolution, ratio, and other related image metrics, and best practices for each social media channel.
We will provide an ongoing list of requested creative for different needs, so you don’t need to think of what to make on your own. We will also provide hex codes for our branded colors and examples of previous designs, so you can understand the type of style we’re looking
We are looking for someone who is reliable, creative, and good at following instruction. Also important for our communication is access to reliable Internet, ideally from home.
Requirements:
Please include a reel, or creative portfolio
- You already have your own creative software
- 3-5 + years of experience in Graphic Design / Video Editing
- Your resume, outlining relevant experience in graphics and image creation
- Examples of your previous work with other companies or from school (if this is your field of study)
- Let us know of how many hours per week your other commitments take up, as we may be looking to increase weekly hours in future
Compensation:
Part-time work, about 20 hours per week, to begin at $2.50/hr (USD)
Pay may be negotiable after a one-month trial depending on the quality of work
