CPA Accountant

This is a full time, permanent job, in an office in Davao City. Not online, freelance or outsourcing

We provide bookkeeping and accountancy services for UK clients

We are looking for two highly motivated CPA's to take clients jobs from reconciliation stage through to final accounts. This will include VAT, management accounts production and corporation tax.
You will be expected to suggest ways of making the jobs more efficient, and learn and advise on tax efficiencies

You will work directly under a British accountant based here in Davao

Initial interview can take place by phone, but the successful applicants will be based in an office in Buhangin, Davao City, after the quarantine rules are relaxed

To excel in this position you must be:
A qualified CPA, this is non-negotiable
An independent thinker who can spot problems and solve them, rather than just following instructions
Willing to study the UK tax rules - online lectures and materials are available, but research will also be required
Very good at spoken and written English
Confident but careful
Experience in auditing/public practice is an advantage but not essential
