Product Sourcing Specialist

Job Description:

We are an e-commerce company dedicated to giving our customers quality products and experiences. We are looking for a talented Product Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for sourcing quality products and services from online marketplaces such as Amazon and Ebay. The aim is to save costs, and maximize profitability and scalability. You will be required to do keyword research, source from suppliers, and manage sales & shipments.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Identify profitable products and niches
• Product research using keyword tools such as Helium10, Viral Launch, Amazeowl, or Jungle Scout
• Pinpoint the essential criteria to maximize profit margins (weight, price point, etc).
• Compile a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
• Come up with strategies to meet sales targets.
• Manage shipments and sales via Sellers account
• Measure effectiveness and efficiency of sourcing processes both internally and externally and find ways to improve processes.
• Source from suppliers and maintain long-lasting relationships with them.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ Previous hands-on experience as a Product Sourcing Specialist.
• Must have a track record of producing good monthly sale figures.
• Extensive knowledge in keyword research and optimization of titles and product sheets.
• Should have effective strategy in place to drive sales.
• Experience with dealing with suppliers (ie. create relationships with suppliers)
• Experience in product listing & promotions.
• Excellent organization & communication skills.
• Experience with using Helium10 and/or Amazeowl is an asset.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suites.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
