Video Husky helps dedicated video creators professionally edit videos in 1-2 business days, stress-free. Our mission is to accelerate the growth of 1,000 independent content creators through long term, reliable video editing collaboration in the next three years.
Our customers can submit unlimited video editing requests and revisions for a flat monthly fee of just $495. This enables content creators to spend less time editing and more time focusing on higher leverage activities.

SUMMARY

Video Husky is looking for a data-driven marketer who can take our existing marketing and sales data, analyze it and identify opportunities for improvement. This position is 100% remote and you will be working alongside our Founder/CEO and the Marketing Manager. We are looking for someone who gets our brand, the services we offer, and understands our customers’ needs and problems.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks

Gather data - Coordinate all of the data between Stripe, Hubspot, ---------- egrate data - Set up systems so that data remains clean, friendly and usable.
Present data - Configure incoming data so that we can have clean reports to understand where our bottlenecks are.
Analyze data - Identify opportunities for improvement based on data gathered.
Small tasks - Help with small online-based tasks such as coordinating paid advertising, Google Analytics and Wordpress.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include keeping data clean in these three areas:

Marketing

Provide clean attribution and ad spend reporting on website visitors to various marketing channels (paid advertising, affiliates, search, etc.)
Managing paid advertising under the direction of the founder.

Sales

Configure and manage Intercom/Hubspot integrations for clean reporting and ---------- t up new sales automation as is necessary.

Operations

(Less important) Help to configure our operations database to ensure we’re balancing operating capacity with a potential number of new customers.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

High Hubspot knowledge and experience
High Intercom knowledge and experience
High Google Analytics knowledge and experience
Better than average Excel knowledge
Better than average Airtable knowledge
Better than average Microsoft BI or similar platform knowledge and experience.
1 year+ of Facebook advertising experience

Customer Journey/Levels of Awareness - All customers must go through a journey - going from unaware to most aware. Therefore it’s the role of data to understand where a prospect is through this entire journey until they make the purchase decision where the prospect ideally becomes a customer.

Diagnose before producing - Understanding the company’s bottleneck before introducing improvements. Great medicine for the wrong situation still won’t work. Therefore you believe it’s more important to research and gain an understanding of what’s wrong before making changes to situations.

Elegant Reporting - data is only useful if presented in a way that the users will actually want to use it. Therefore while Excel can occasionally be useful, finding the right software to create better reporting is your go-to preference.

Numbers/formula-driven - your instinct is to look at numbers first and view the situation through that.
Proactive - You don’t wait until a problem is given to you to solve, you find the problem in the first ---------- tail Oriented - you believe that little things matter and that careless mistakes are ---------- thodical - you believe in planning, measuring twice, and cutting once.
Do-er - if you don’t know how to do it, you’ll do your best to figure it out, not wait on somebody else.

You are not:
A writer - while you believe in good copywriting and content, it’s not your strong suit.
A Jack of all Trades - A lot goes into marketing and you’re not trying to do everything, you know you’re a numbers person and that’s what you want to focus on.
