Who Are We?
Nordic Quality is an extremely awesome, up-and-coming, online-based company selling physical products under several of our own brands. Our main brand is in the gym and fitness category.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an awesome supply chain officer to join our team. He/she will be working full-time for 40 hours a week on a semi-flexible schedule, under a time tracker. The fixed hours will be from 2:00 PM PHT - 6:00 PM PHT from Monday to Friday, a total of 20 hours per week. The remaining 20 hours will be up to him/her to manage, provided that he/she meets deadlines and keep a good quality of work.
He/She will be working with, and reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager. He/She must have the following:
-Experience in supply chain and inventory management;
-A+ English (very important!);
-Being tech-savvy;
-Responsiveness in communication
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets;
-Great attention to detail;
-Willingness to learn new things;
-Good researching skills;
A BIG PLUS: Experience with Forecastly, Amazon Seller Central, Trello, Slack, Freightos, importing goods through customs and the relevant documentation.
-Stable Internet connection (Having a backup is a plus!)
-A reliable laptop (Having a backup is a plus!)
-Headphones/earphones (For when we have meetings)
What would the tasks be?
1. Inventory management:
- Monitor and track inventory levels in China/USA/UK/Japan/Amazon - (through an inventory software, Google spreadsheets, etc)
- Track & optimize inventory (to make sure we don't run out of stock)
- Track sales and make sure we reorder in time
2. Shipment Preparation:
- Make shipment plans to Amazon (US, UK, and Japan) via air/sea
- Communicate with Chinese suppliers for shipments
- Negotiate and arrange shipments with forwarders
3 Filling, Tracking, and adjusting inventory up or down.
4. Other tasks:
- Prepare and keep up-to-date HS codes spreadsheet for all products
- Make SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for everything shipping/inventory related?- Create new purchase orders for goods
- Arrange Quality Controls when they are finished
- Confirm invoices pertaining to Logistics
- Reconcile shipments
- Remove excess inventory from Amazon
You do not need experience with FBA tasks (but it is a big plus if you do have it). You'll just need to be highly trainable as we'll provide training materials for those tasks.
