At Yokel Local, we put our clients at the center of everything we do. Founded in 2011, we strive to be a leader in online marketing, driving new leads and sales by building for small and medium-sized businesses a dominant internet presence in the marketplace. We are a HuSpot Partner Agency, member of the Forbes Agency Council, American Marketers Association and support numerous local charities in Las Vegas.

We are growing and are looking for an SEO Leader to join our agile agency team at Yokel Local to build and manage 15-20 SEO campaigns and support the efforts of our marketing team. We are looking for strategic thinkers who understand the big picture but is hands-on and has a proven history of execution and success in an agency environment. A self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment will be a great fit here.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the current landscape of SEO for organic and local search optimization
- Develop and implement SEO marketing strategy and keep it updated based on industry trends.
- Optimize across SEO campaigns and work in conjunctions with paid search campaigns.
- Review and analyze competitor sites and understand their organic search approach to find opportunities.
- Manage SEO campaigns through keyword research, content development and link building, and all on-page optimizations.
- Manage creation of landing pages to support SEO and channel optimization as needed.
- Own the results for the agency’s client’s, define objectives and lead day-to-day projects.
- Own SEO strategy and execution from conception to launch, tying together marketing, product, and data to deliver results at scale.
- Develop and execute ideas that increase the conversion by improving the user experience.
- Well versed in local SEO
- Work with internal content, creative and web development teams to improve on-page elements, internal linking and site quality. Work with internal content and marketing team on off-page SEO to build external links and citations through a variety of outreach marketing efforts.
- Produce monthly reports, verify accuracy and provide analysis for the agency’s clients
- Stay on top of industry trends and informed of any potential impact due to algorithmic changes

Required Skills

- Direct experience developing, managing and/or optimizing all aspects of SEO in conjunction with paid acquisition marketing channels (ie. Paid search, display and retargeting.)
- Data-driven marketer with top-notch analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to create a client plan and pitch to leadership for execution.
- Comfortable operating autonomously as well as thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with managing or working with national, regional and local businesses is preferred.
- Experience using a variety of today’s top SEO tools.
- 3+ years' work experience in SEO & digital marketing
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
