We are looking for a part-time content writer that has the ability to write newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and website copy, and general content.
Newsletter – create documents intended for distribution via
Blog post – create content intended for posting on the company’s blog containing valuable information, an announcement of a new product/service, or upcoming event.
Press Release – creation or syndication of a document containing the official statement of the company/individual that is intended for distribution to the media containing information on a particular product
Website copy – create content intended for the main pages of the company’s website such as the About Us page, the Contact Us page, the FAQs page, and the like.
Responsibilities:
Research industry-related topics
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
Proofread and edit content before publication
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Promote content on social media
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Portfolio of published articles
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web publications
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet deadlines
