Are You a Rockstar Wordpress Article Editor?

Hi there!

My fast-growing company has an opening for a Wordpress editor. We operate several websites that publish helpful articles often. Those articles are written by the authors and then require someone to review/edit and do final touchups so they can be published.

Once articles are ready for editing, they must be formatted according to our instructions. Example:

• image formatting (size, placement, alignment, compression, alt tags, etc)
• headings (correct heading tag used like H2, H3, H4, no formatting or spelling/grammar errors)
• links (affiliate links entered in the right spots)
• videos (helpful youtube videos inserted in the right spots of the article)

This is a part-time position to start. Probably somewhere between 5-10 hours. If you perform well, additional tasks will be assigned to you.

Requirements for the job:

• Stable internet connection (includes a backup, so you aren't gone if power or internet goes out)
• 2 years+ Experience working in WordPress
• Experience optimizing images for web (compressing, resizing, etc)
• Can work 10-20 hours per week
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. (no distractions around your work area)
• Install Hubstaff to track time (this is the tool we use to track your hours so we can pay you)
• Can read and write fluently in English (should be able to find and correct spelling/grammar errors)
• Payment is delivered via Paypal so you must have an operational Paypal account.

Start date: Early next week, Monday or Tuesday.

Pay:

$200 USD per month for 20 hours per week. If you don't work 20 hours per week, your pay is prorated. I pay every other Monday.
