I work for a magazine, and as part of our phase 3 launch, we plan to start releasing content videos similar to what you would see on BuzzFeed or POPSUGAR. These videos will generally be around 5 minutes in length, and will be reviewing trends in social media. Stylistically, we are aiming for something similar to the E! News show "What the Fashion" where a panel discusses trending fashion moments. We are looking to bring the same sense of humor and quick paced content, and would recommend watching a few episodes to get a good feel of what we are going for.
Along with the 5-ish minute video we will be posting to YouTube, we also plan to post several accompanying 60 second videos to our Instagram account. The 60 second Insta videos will comprise of mostly the same content as our 5-ish minute YouTube videos, and should therefore require very little additional editing. For example: in one YouTube video we may cover trends A, B, C, and D within a 5-ish minute period. The accompanying Instagram videos will therefore consist of one post covering topic A, one post covering topic B, one post covering topic C, and so on. Each Instagram video has to be 60 seconds or shorter in order to fit Instagram time restraints.
Additionally, we would like each YouTube and Instagram video to include our animated logo and accompanying jingle (which we will provide), as well as a short intro where we would say something along the lines of "welcome to our trend talk, today we are talking about this trend, please like and subscribe". I would like these videos to include color correction, sound effects, and motion graphics/animation to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
We plan to post around one video per week, and due to the nature of the content we will be producing, need a relatively quick turn around time. Each applicant must be proficient in speaking and understanding English.
