Business Development Specialist

Job applicants should be fluent in English, skilled at research and data entry.

The role requires the Business Development specialist to quickly search for contact information for food companies and input that information into a spreadsheet. A minimum of 50 contacts are expected daily. The food companies NEED to meet the following criteria:

-They utilize color in their food products
-They are US-based

It is recommended that the companies that are researched have the following characteristics:
-Already using spirulina algae, spirulina extract, blue-green algae, E3 live, phycocyanin or blue spirulina
-Are local to the Los Angeles or California region
-Emphasize online sales
-They are small businesses (< 100 people)

Their mission is related to health, environmental and social ---------- particular:
Health: plant-protein/replace animal protein
Environmental: seeking more sustainable practices
Social Impact: tells stories related to helping underserved communities

Specifically, when finding contact information for a person at the company, we are looking for someone who is:
-Involved with rapid innovation and new product development
-Currently sourcing and purchasing new ingredients
-Executive decision maker
