SaaS Senior Back End Developer

We are looking for a part time or full time experienced back end developer that is:
-Self reliant
-Experienced working remotely and comfortable with video meetings
-Able to work in the chaotic environment of a startup
-Enjoys building high quality code and both reviewing and having their work reviewed
-Excited to be part of a fun small team!
-Interested in this contract position

The technical skills required would be:
-Understanding of architectural patterns used in high-scale applications
-Experience with high volume data pipelines and stream processing such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop
-Exceptionally proficient with Javascript (ES6+) and Typescript
-Fluent in NodeJS and Express with understanding of what makes a well-designed API
-Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis, schema design
-Strong understanding of web application security
-Experience with unit testing and continuous integration
-Experience with microservices or docker containers a plus
-Working knowledge of React or Angular frameworks a plus


Working hours must include between 10:00am-11:00am EST (for team meetings) and 1:00pm-5:00pm EST to provide developer coverage and communicate with the rest of the team.
