Wordpress Designer/Developer

We are a digital agency currently looking to recruit a freelance Wordpress developer for regular, ongoing remote work.

We are a relatively small digital marketing agency with a growing number of web design clients. Our requirements range from the design and production of simple one-page website or brochure sites right through to complex and bespoke learning management systems, ecommerce solutions or user dashboards.

The vast majority of the projects we work on use ---------- most cases, these projects will also use WooCommerce.

We are looking for someone who has both the skills and approach that mean we can build a productive and fruitful long term working relationship that works for us both. The essential skills we’re looking for are as follows:

Advanced Wordpress knowledge and skills (Can you do pretty much anything in Wordpress?)
Advanced Woocommerce knowledge and skills (Can you customise every element of WooCommerce?)
Advanced CSS (Can you take a .psd and replicate it using CSS?)
Advanced PHP (e.g. Can you create, organise and manage databases and tie them in to front end forms?)
Server management (Can you set up, optimise and manage websites using cpanel and plesk?)
Very good time management (Can you stick to deadlines?)
Very good communication skills (Can you communicate clearly and professionally with the rest of our team and clients?)
Great design skills (Do you have any eye for design? Are you creative?)
Conversion focused approach (Can you create websites that convert? Do your websites make it possible for customers to place orders, or make it really easy for them?)
Eye for detail (Are the websites you create highly polished and professional? Can you critique and improve your own work?)
Experience with page builders (e.g. Elementor (pro) and Gutenburg)

Though it is not essential, we would also be interested in any candidate who have experience using other platforms etc. For example: ruby, python, laravel web based applications, app design etc.

We currently have lots of work for the successful applicant. For someone with the right skills and personality we would be able to give you a constant stream of as much work as you wanted, starting immediately.
