Azure Technical Architect

We develop and manage software that is run by multiple government organizations. We are transitioning this software to run on Microsoft Azure.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Azure Technical Architect to design, deliver and manage this SaaS implementation. Your experience in architecture, design, and implementation of the Microsoft technology stack will ensure you are successful in this role. Taking an Agile approach, you will be given the opportunity to deepen your knowledge base and expand your skills while delivering a world class solution for our clients.

A Day In The Life:
• Design, implement, enhance and support cloud instance(s) of our solution on Microsoft Azure
• Automate Azure tasks using Powershell
• Monitor, Secure and Manage multiple tenants
• Facilitate and maintain security accreditations for the solution (e.g. FedRAMP, SOC Level 2)
• Provide technical support for the cloud environments(s)
• Integrate with customer infrastructure as required

Writing detailed documentation including:
• Conceptual design
• Logical design
• Physical design
• Knowledge transfer materials
• Transition to operations information
• Security Assessments
• Operational & Outage Reports

What You Bring
• 2+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft Azure technology stack
• 2+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or successfully delivering cloud solutions, specifically Azure (PaaS or SaaS)
• Familiarity with Microsoft architecture and best practices
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Self-motivation and a desire to be interactive and adaptable in a collaborative working environment
• Microsoft Azure certification(s)
