Angular Developer

We are looking for a developer to join their technology department to work on projects for internal use. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Angular developer with knowledge of the Angular ecosystem and popular tools to extend the framework. They will also have experience with Agile development and ideally able to assume the role of scrum master. In this role, the developer will be leading a small remote team of developers to deliver a minimum viable product in the shortest time possible and then work to extend the product to specification. They will be able to take issues and either ask for qualification or be able to translate the issues into a functional design and leading the junior team members in implementation.



Responsibilities include:

Taking issues from the backlog and implementing them with minimal guidance
Hosting a daily standup with junior developers
Hosting a post sprint retroflection
Coordinating with management and reporting progress, blocks, and revised time estimates
Enforcing coding standards and ensuring junior developers stick to them, revising where necessary
Taking the lead in implementation

Qualifications/Requirements

3+ years with Angular and typescript and experience with Angular 7+
Strong knowledge of observables
Experience with NgRx a plus
Experience writing tests with Jasmine/Karma
Experience with document store NoSQL databases
Ability to work in an Agile team
Scrum master experience a plus
Experience with CSS/SASS a plus but not required - will have the support of a dedicated designer/UX expert
