Our Health Insurance agency is hiring a telemarketer to join our team. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the phone with several people each day to set appointments and generate leads using our outbound scripts. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can stay positive on calls. The ideal candidate will have telemarketing experience and be comfortable with learning new computer programs and adapting to new situations. Access to a reliable computer with stable internet and a way to conduct outbound calls is a must in this position. If interested, please respond to the ad with a link to your voice recording.
Responsibilities
Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs
Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
Skills
Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejections
