Export Officer

Tower Transition Logistics International Inc., is looking to hire an “Export Officer” to do the following:
Communicate with broad range of potential vendors mainly by email and review product reports and purchase orders being delivered and continued confirmation with buyer requirements help with buyer solicitation and sales. The Export Officer must have a strong sales and online sales background to help build sales team.
Additional requirements will be to help with customs clearance issues negotiate with freight forwarders and/or with the shipping lines. Work with to solidify marine insurance and help with the schedule of delivery of shipments overall managing the day-to-day procurement functions and daily procurement needs. Also assist on the creation of new / alternative supplier list and work with “Letters of Credit” with financial institutions.
Key task and support areas:
• Locate export leads/markets in Africa and identify target countries and help build product portfolio.
• Build professional profile on select trade websites. Assist with any documentary collection
• Work with buyer screening with regards to U.S. trade restrictions
• Help with market research
• Help with research with regards to United States export restrictions.
Efficient Overall Virtual export officer. Activities include but not limited to Social Media Handling, Page and Ads creation, Data Entry, Copywriting, etc. Computer skills - MS Office, Excel, Outlook, ERPs,, Slack, and typing speed at 50wpm.
