JOB OVERVIEW

We are a unique and progressive web design company based in Australia that focuses not just on the technology but also the business aspects. Though the company is relatively young, the managing director has over a decade of professional experience in the web industry, a healthy number of client base, strong networks and a clear direction for the business.

We are looking for a passionate and dependable virtual assistant with strong attention to detail, research and people skills to join our growing team. Your primary role is assisting the managing director and the team with administrative and research work. You need to have a ‘can do’ attitude, outstanding time management skills, can multitask, is trustworthy and have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities:
- Organise our MD’s appointments and schedules
- Research and collect information online (eg, competitor details and lead generation)
- Send out monthly invoices to clients and follow up on payments
- Handle basic website support enquiries with existing clients
- Create basic blogs and social media posts
- Participate in regular team meeting as well as client meetings via Skype (good internet connection, mic & webcam required)
- Fill out daily timesheet to show progress and communicate with team


Required Experience:
- 3+ years as a PA or VA
- Excellent with technology and office skills (Websites, Google Apps, MS Office, Emails)
- Great communication skills (on the phone and emailing)
- Can at multitasking and is very organised with day to day work


Required Attributes:
- You must be a team player – collaboration and strong communication is in your nature
- Have diverse range of experience and be able to think on your feet
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Positive attitude, demonstrate accountability, strong attention to detail, trustworthy, proactive and resourceful


Desirable Experience (Bonus):
- Have western cultural background (US, UK or AU)
- Understands websites, SEO and social media
- Worked in the web development and online marketing industry
