Job Description

We are seeking a full stack PHP developer who is proficient with the Symfony framework and possesses Linux administration skills. You’ll be responsible for the further development of all aspects of several web applications and for performing several systems administration tasks on our servers. We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid of new challenges and is open to acquire new skills. You’ll work closely with other members of our team.

Responsibilities

Build efficient, documented and reusable code
Build UIs and server-side services
Work with existing code base
Implement and interact with third party API’s
Design relational databases to process millions of rows of data
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Perform server installation, configuration and maintenance tasks


Skills And Qualifications

5+ years of professional PHP and MySQL experience
Strong knowledge of the Symfony PHP frameworks (versions 1 to 4)
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap
Understanding of MVC design patterns and web application architecture
Strong knowledge of database design to represent and support business processes
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Subversion
Experience of Linux server administration and services configuration (configuring apache, nginx, firewalls, setting up backups)
