JOB OVERVIEW

We are an e-commerce company, specializing in selling premium home and kitchen products. We have an ambitious growth plan for 2020, and are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to manage email inquiries from our US-based customers.

Job Type: Full-time (40+ hours / week)

Responsibilities
- Acknowledging and promptly responding to customer email inquiries
- Processing refunds and cancelling/changing orders on Shopify
- Social media moderation
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even if there is a customer complaint
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer customer questions
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

Hard Skills
- 2+ years experience in email customer service in e-commerce
- 2+ years experience with Shopify order management (placing, changing, cancelling orders at minimum)
- Very experienced with customer support platform (FreshDesk/ZenDesk preferred)
- Very experienced with handling PayPal/chargeback claims
- Strong proficiency in US English reading/writing skills

Required
- Strong, stable internet connection (at least 10mbps)
- Desktop or laptop computer for daily work
