React Native Developer

Context: I’ve built a react native mobile app for a friend/client who is launching a new fitness brand here in the Philippines and need assistance to extend it further. We need to take the existing codebase, remove one or two features, and add 7 or 8 screens. Additionally the app does not yet have a backend. So part of the scope will be to build out a simple API for identity, account details, and favouriting. The videos are currently being served from Youtube and the content lists are coming from the Webflow Collections API. We’re open to suggestions for both of these.

The app itself is not super complex - it’s mainly content, with the abillty to smoothly browse, play and favourite videos. A close example is the Alo Moves app - Upgrade to see actual info

Requirements
- React native experience - can point to portfolio examples that have been published in the app stores, and share example codebases.
- Good written and spoken English communication.
- Appreciation for Upgrade to see actual infosigns will be provided of course, but we’d like the contractor to be able to implement them with an appreciation for the finished UX.
- Available to start full time on the project within the next 7 days.
