Marketing Assistant

Our studio produces books and video courses on photography and creativity with an ongoing very popular YouTube show on photography, hosted by Marc Silber, renown in the field of photography

We are looking for a Marketing assistant who can help us repurpose our existing long-form video and audio podcast content into shorter form content to be shared on social channels.

Videos would then be turned into content types including but not limited to: text/image quotes, short video clips, images, blog posts, etc.

This person will also be responsible for editing the audio of our podcasts 5 times weekly and posting it to our hosting account as well as creating the posts with it in WordPress.

We have a top ranked youtube channel where this content comes from.

This person will also look for opportunities to distribute our content and thus gain more youtube subscribers from photographers, clubs, schools etc. And to gain more social media followers.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English. This job requires knowledge of video editing, and how to create attractive and effective social media posts. Also how to write clearly, by taking key points from each video and turning it into written posts and PDFs for download from our website.

Duties include:
* Skilled at video and audio editing (tell us which software you use.)
* Knowledgeable about Wordpress and posting blog posts with SEO.
* Posting content on FB, Twitter, instagram, Linkedin , etc.
* Scheduling Marc Silber for other’s podcasts.
*Working with Youtube.
*Networking to find new markets and viewers of our content.
* Being part of the team and eager to pick up any functions that can be delegated remotely.

We are looking for a passionate, creative person, who wants to work in a creative environment. They must have high standards and be experienced in the skills above and demonstrate that they really care about what we are doing and our mission to help people advance their skills as photographers to improve their lives.

We are looking for an ongoing and long term business relationship. While this post says part time, it could well become full time for the right person.
