Researcher / Script Writer

Mediawerkz, a US based Marketing firm is excited to announce that we have an opening for a Researcher / Script Writer to work on a new YouTube project.

This will be a permanent position that is very unique in that the person we select will have creative control over their research and scripts. At Mediawerkz, our employees are part of our family. As such, we collaborate frequently and share our successes.

You can expect to be treated with respect and compensated with bonuses as the channel succeeds. In short, we are not looking for an employee. Rather, we are looking for someone to partner with us and be a new Mediawerkz family member.

Here is a list of the responsibilities for the Researcher / Script Writer position:
• You will receive that day’s video title and and a creative brief of the content to be written
• You will provide research information on the title and write a script in a specific format (Usually around 900 words)
o Note: Each of our videos will have the same general format, so once the first script is made, certain elements and the overall flow will be the same, making each subsequent script easier to write.
• Submit the script to our video editor who will arrange the voiceover and create the video content around your ---------- is important to note that each video will only need to be 6-10 minutes each in length so the script length will usually only require 600 to 1,000 words based on 100 words generally required per minute of video.

We strive to upload a video every day, so there will be a need for up to 30 scripts per month. The exact format for each video can be found in the following link so you can get a good idea how you will be writing your scripts.:

Don’t worry, you are not flying blind. We are always available to work with you if there are ever any questions during the script-writing process.

To be able to do this position, you will need the following:
• High speed internet access
• Excellent time management as we post new videos every day. You will receive a newscript assignment each day.
• The ability to work in a team and collaborate with specific instructions.
