The Job:
We’re looking for a smart, collaborative audio engineer to join the technical team here at PodPost Media. This person will help to edit and mix our clients podcasts to our high standard of quality. We are on the hunt for a full-time audio engineer who is excited to join a growing company.

You’ll support our production team by editing interviews, mixing music, adding SFX, and creating a compelling and unique audio experience that ensures that listeners always enjoy audio of the highest quality. You will have great instincts for pacing and editing. You’re not just an audio editor, you are an artist who takes pride in your work.

You’ll work as part of a virtual team of audio engineers, assistants, and ---------- the future, you may also be tasked with training new staff in the best practices of recording, mixing and mastering. You must be able to work in harmony with different teams under deadline pressure. You’ll also be highly organized, and understand that systems are just as important as sound.

You should have:

- At least 3-5 years experience working with podcasts, broadcasts and/or other audio and multimedia content.

- A thorough understanding of the on-demand audio space.

- A thorough understanding of engineering, recording, editing and arranging, post production, mixing and mastering for dialog, sound design and music.

- Understanding of studio topology, signal-flow, and a variety of recording equipment

- The willingness to learn and assist the production team to publish audio to online platforms such as Libsyn, Art19, Wordpress, etc.

- Impeccable file organizational ---------- closing, I’d like to mention one final thing before you apply.
