JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a successful Job Board Marketing Manager. This is an opportunity to work for a fun, energetic and dynamic non-profit organization. The organization has a large and highly engaged community. We are ideally looking for someone long-term. The Marketing Manager implements and executes strategic content and product marketing plans that build brand awareness and grows job posts revenue.

We have a highly niche job board focused on one single specific role within the pharmaceutical industry. We currently have several pharma companies that post jobs with us. We need a marketing manager to join our team, and raise awareness of our job board. The marketing plan has already been developed. Your role will be to implement the plan, suggest improvements and tell us what aspects of the plan are providing the highest ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create an approved social media marketing plan that includes among other details monthly metrics /expectations. This should include the number of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and pinterest post (these should be linked accounts and do not need to be separate posts).
- Create an agreed upon and approved marketing media package/Kit within two weeks of signed contract.
- Provide support to existing customers or clients to help them get good traffic and applications for their job postings.
- Syndicate career center Jobs to Aggregator sites.
- Distribute career center job widget to different website publisher of relevant industry to include on their website.
- Develop and execute Google and online adword campaigns
- Develop press releases, youtube video and other content for promoting career center and attracting traffic.
- Development comprehensive content creation and content marketing strategy
- Gain feedback from existing and potential customers on how the jobs board service can be improved, and feed this back to management for implementation.
- Provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. We want to know which channels provide you with the most leads!
- Suggest new marketing and business development initiatives.
- Marketing activities to our 2 LinkedIn groups owned by the organization
- Create and send a monthly announcement with all new jobs utilizing our MailChimp account to database.
- Promoting the job board as a key resource for connecting with suitable, experienced applicants.
- Creating content to drive traffic to our job board. This should include infographics, blog postings, interviews with hiring managers - we want you to suggest the platform that will generate the most interest!
- Manage email campaigns, and create segmented email campaigns to deliver mail to hiring managers and recruiters.
- Create segmented email lists in mailchimp to identify hiring managers and suitable job applicants.
- Promote the job board across social media, and manage LinkedIn updates regarding the jobs board.
- Manage (if appropriate) PPC advertising across google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook to drive traffic to the job board.
- Close collaboration with management, sales, and external customers.
- Develop effective marketing collateral materials
- Execute effective paid search advertising campaigns (e.g. SEM, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Source, attract, educate, and connect current and prospective professionals with jobs by leveraging marketing technologies
- Source, nurture, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales leads across an array of market segments using external databases and lists, ad tracking technologies, CRM (Salesforce.com), and marketing automation (hubspot).


Skills Needed for the Role:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience with LinkedIn
- Extensive experience with Mailchimp newsletter platform (or the ability to learn it quickly)
- Demonstrate and have delivered ROI and track record of exceeding targets.
- A social marketer. We run lead generation and marketing campaigns but you must be able to generate leads and promote the job board on social media. We have a social media plan and guidelines to share, and will help you automate messages using buffer.
- Based in the USA (or able to work in the US time zone), and able to work remotely and independently.
- Marketing of a job board or recruitment services will be hugely beneficial.
- Content marketing, and an understanding of how content can be used to generate leads, web traffic and improve SEO.
- Email marketing skills (ideally Mailchimp), + an understanding of how to create segmented email campaigns.
- Promoting services over social media, and an understanding of the differences between LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and different platforms.
- Able to work with a job board sales executive, and devise solutions that convert the interest generated into sales.
- A creative, flexible thinker who is able to offer ideas and improvements on the jobs board, and feedback on what aspects of the marketing are providing the greatest ROI.
- Experience leveraging marketing automation platforms for segmented and triggered campaigns
- Experience utilizing a CRM (hubspot preferred)
- Experience in driving traffic to job boards
- Competency in or ability to rapidly learn WordPress, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics
