Content Upload Assistant

Do you have a knack for dealing with content? Do you get excited creating something others will enjoy and appreciate?
 
We’re looking for someone to help us take content from our writers and make it beautiful and engaging through templates we have developed.
 
You’ll need to be driven and be able to deal with a certain level of monotony as this role will involve a level of repetition. You’ll also be given a great deal of input over how to deal with daily tasks and we’ll be expecting you to provide feedback on how we can continually improve our processes. This position will give you the chance to really become engaged in the content processes of the business.
 
You’ll be given full training on how to use our various pieces of software.
 
Hours: Part time 4 hours a day preferably within 9-5pm GMT window, but negotiable (Full Time May become available after trial run)

Purpose of Job: The Web Editor/Web Content Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate upload and maintenance of content to our WordPress websites. S/he will upload and proof material (images and text) for the site, complete SEO checklist changes, troubleshoot website anomalies, ensure the website stays current, and will act on feedback from the project manager.
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Upload and accommodate materials to the website by agreed deadlines;
· Carry out scheduled/regular updates of existing content;
· Use web?content management systems in WordPress such as Thrive, Divi and Elementor to upload and accommodate content sometimes changing these templates and keeping them organized
· Work with project management team to schedule new content;
· Laisse with project manager to complete website maintenance tasks
· Produce a content planning timeline keeping to a schedule of content upload with our writers
 
Required Experience

· A basic level of WordPress use
· Intermediate English for basic editing purposes
