JOB OVERVIEW

Time: 40 hours per week desired. 25 hours/week minimum.
Key Skills: WordPress Development, English Writing Ability, Excel
Start Date: As soon as possible. Hopefully by the end of next week.

About me:
Hello, I am Connor: a mechanical engineer, world traveler, and now entrepreneur. I’m focused, always learning, motivated, and an avid practitioner of mediating, exercising, traveling, skiing, and language learning. I was born in the United States, was living in Argentina, currently live in France, and will soon be living in Switzerland. I’m looking forward to finding someone to join the team!

Why you should join the team:
• Flexible work hours and vacation.
• 13 month bonus, monthly pay-increases, bonuses upon project completion.
• Paid training. Get paid to learn new skills.
• Join a TEAM! Hopefully long-term! You are more than just the virtual assistant.

The projects you will be involved with:
• (35%) The first project is a travel platform; connecting people who love adventure and helping them go on the trip of their dreams.
• (35%) The second project is a website to help people learn languages, for free, from anywhere in the world.
• (30%) Finally, you will be involved with various administrative tasks.

About you:
You have a desire to learn and take on more responsibility as your skills develop. You are ready to join a team, long-term. You are honest and trust-worthy (as I will be to you). You have an eye for what looks good, and what doesn’t (design). Hopefully, you are interested in languages and/or travel (they often go hand-in-hand). And of course, you enjoy working on the computer :)

Skills you must have, ALREADY:
• WordPress Development (70% of the work): You know how to install/operate plugins, use Elementor, and format links, buttons, photos, text, and icons.
• Written English: Your written English should be great.
• Excel: You have some experience using Excel.

Extra skills, but NOT required (you can learn these as you go, if you want):
• SEO and marketing.
• Social media management.
• Video editing, audio editing.
• Experience with travelling or planning a trip.
• Spoken English.

So, are you interested? Cool! Me too.

Here is how to apply:
1. Respond to this job posting. The title of your response should include the name of any destination you would like to travel.
2. Write a three paragraph message. Paragraph one: Tell me about you. Paragraph two: Highlight relevant WordPress experience- links to example work useful. Paragraph three: Comment on extra skills, or if you are willing to learn them.
3. Attach a link to your resume or CV.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post! I will contact you, within 3 days, to let you know if you are being considered for the position (or not). Is so, we will continue onto step two of the application!

Regards,
Connor
