Writer for Direct Response Marketing Company

One of Australia's most progressive direct response marketing company is looking for an avid Writer to join a synergetic team of individuals.

The successful Copywriter will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Writing profiles of prominent businessmen from across the globe
Writing message sequences for marketing campaigns that can be used across various platforms that generate results
Write unique, relatable and easily understood content for direct response landing pages
Reviews and checks quality of all assignments before publication to assure accuracy and brand alignment
Responsible for generating attention-grabbing ideas that will entice the consumer or target audience
Develop conceptual campaigns designed to stand apart from competitors
Identify successful content and map out new ways to repurpose

To be successful in the role the candidates should have:
A background in journalism is not required, but preferred
Must be able to write conversational messages and PR communications
Strong related work experience or familiarity in our industry
An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas
High-level creative thinking and the confidence to use it
Motivation and the desire to execute every job to the highest standard
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to understand and identify user needs and demonstrate how content decisions support these needs
Ability to collaborate with a team and create reusable and well-versed content
Must have high speed internet and able to work during Australian working hours
Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
Impeccable spelling and grammar
A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
Great research, organizational, and learning skills
High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
