Senior Pattern Cutter/Seamstress

We are currently looking for an 8 year or more experienced Senior Seamstresses to join our Brand. It’s an opportunity to join a high-end women’s wear brand. The seamstress has to have experience with pattern making, draping, cutting, and sewing.

Responsibilities:
* Reading and understanding of patterns and fabrics
* Molding lace and fabrics
* Fusing
* Taking measurements
* Using the pattern to cut out the fabric pieces
* Tackling the fabric pieces together for a fitting
* Fitting the garment and making adjustments to create a perfect fit
* Use the cups and the wire
* Pin hem (by both hand and machine)
* Zip apply (by both hand and machine)

The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in women’s wear brand
* Confident with delicate fabrics like chiffon, lace, etc.
* Experience with draping: soft and fitted pleats (in all different materials)
* Able to work efficiently to tight deadlines
