Content Writer

We are a growing U.S. based, business-to-business (B2B) company, established in 1979, and scouting for fresh talent to grow with.

We have an immediate need for one or more Content Writers with excellent communication and organizational skills.

We are looking for career-minded people with a long-term outlook. That means, we want candidates for this position who are willing to learn new things, take initiative, and eventually evolve into a team leader.

This may be either a part time or full time (40hrs/wk) contractor position. (Full-Time applicants: must agree to work exclusively for our company.)

Work schedule is flexible and negotiable, but you will need to coordinate with a point-of-contact working in the United States on U.S. Eastern time (a ~12 hour time difference).

REQUIREMENTS:
******************************************

- Conversational English Fluency (able and willing to communicate via audio (by phone, Skype, Hangouts, etc.).

- An organized, detailed, and resourceful personality.

- Expert in writing interesting American English web content is a MUST.

- Comfortable and proficient in article spinning (rewriting an article so that it passes plagiarism software).

- Beginner understanding or better AND interest in lean and continuous improvement concepts in both manufacturing and office environments.

- Proven experience in researching and writing about technical topics such as lean, six sigma, operations management, manufacturing, and supply chain management, or other technical topics (Proven means you have published writing samples you can share.).

- Proficient in researching and writing about technical subjects (For full time applicants, Proficiency means comfortably and consistently researching and writing an average of at least ~800 to ~1600 words for every 8 hours you work. Some topics may take more time. others should take less time.)

**Not required, but very helpful**
- Experience in writing content for different stages of the buyer’s journey.
- Experience in scripting youtube videos.
- Familiar and comfortable with Six Sigma concepts.
- Familiar with basic SEO concepts.
