Software Engineer

You will be responsible for:

Building scalable mobile applications and adding new features to the existing sites.
Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
Participating in the mobile product planning and identifying areas to improving the app
Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.


Android: 

Strong programming skills in Java and deep knowledge in development for Android. 
Be highly knowledgeable in Android SDK as well as in different versions of Android. 
Experienced with varying screen sizes. 
Strong Experience in Android, Android Studio, and XML. 
Strong experience in Material Design. 
Have excellent development experience using web-based RESTful APIs, SQL server and more. 
Have full understanding of Google’s Android Design principles and interface guidelines. 



The Profile

You possess a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and have at least 2 years’ experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role.
You have thorough understanding of Java, RxJava, Kotlin, GIT, JSON.
Experience with Android SDK, Android testing tools (Espresso, Mockito), Libraries such as Retrofit, Okhttp, Dagger 2 is an added advantage.
You also are capable of working with old Android OS versions from KitKat (4.4).
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
