Accountant / Bookkeeper / Finance Superstar Wanted

We are a small company looking to expand our team and looking for a financial expert to help us with various projects both in Canada and in the Philippines. This is a part time position, but have multiple projects to get stuck into that will grow and require more attention over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid with the organization (and reorganization) of the company’s finances
- Aid with the search for and transition to a new Canadian accounting firm
- Ongoing assistance with various projects on an ongoing basis
- Review previous documentation to find any faults
- Ensure finance team in Canada has everything they require
- Data entry from receipts & expenses
- Developing systems to streamline and reduce workload at tax time

REQUIREMENTS
- MUST: Extensive experience with Quickbooks. QB Professional Certification preferred
- MUST: Flawless English
- MUST: Excellent attention to detail with an ability to look deep into financial statements to uncover anomalies
- MUST: Be reliable, dependable, trustworthy and have good references from previous employers.
- MUST: 5 years of finance / bookkeeping / accounting experience
- PREFERRED: Experience with Canadian AND Filipino accounting principles
- PREFERRED: Ability to conduct financial analysis and advise leadership team
- PREFERRED: CPA or similar designation

COMPENSATION
$3-7 USD per hour depending on experience.
