The Position: Mobile Developer (iOS)

We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You love delivering both exceptional technical solutions and an inspiring user experience. You design robust and strong systems and write exceptional code. You love being a trusted advisor to the team and working closely with them throughout projects. We are looking for someone with innate curiosity and the drive to make a difference, both in the way we work and the outcomes we create.

Our best engineers are passionate about programming – they even dream about it. If you can code in your sleep too, you’ll be in good company.

You’re great at:

• iOS development: 5+ years in the mobile environment (We believe ability is more important than experience)
• Objective-C & SWIFT programming languages.
• Integrating with RESTful APIs (XML, JSON).
• Frameworks such as Core Data, Core Graphics & Core Text, Camera, GPS, Maps.
• Dependency management tools like Cocoa Pods etc.
• Source control tools like Git etc.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edges cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Maintaining the existing applications & develop the new ones for the iOS platform.
• Communicating in English (and maybe another language?)

Your “nice to haves” a.k.a. what makes you even more wonderful:

• You have a good aesthetic eye designing and building eye-candy, super usable UIs.
• You have a personal portfolio of applications (including one or more apps published to the App store) to show
• You know collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design & ship new features.
• You have knowledge of Mobile architectures, trends & emerging technologies.
• You know everything there is to know about Agile methodologies.
• You have already worked in a start-up, so you understand how things can be.
