The job posting is for a resort project in Vietnam with 60 rooms. The resort is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 9 months. We are seeking applicants who has the experience to provide the full checklist of work regard prior to and after the opening of the resort. The checklist of work must be accompanied by the relevant documentation and forms, policy and procedures for each department including the establishment of a pre-opening budget and a post opening financial projection. Familiarity with Vietnam regulation and cost and budget is preferred. Assistance and inputs will also be discussed and provided by us on a as necessary basis. All work done and completed will, remain our sole and exclusive property.
The resort is by a lake, up a hill with temperature averaging 23 to 25 degree Celsius to 8 to 10 degree during cold season. Resort is targeted to be 4 star. It is surrounded by mature pine trees. Weather is sunny except during raining season.
Key work will include:
1. Checklist of work by department that will be required to be completed prior to pre opening. This should include detail checklist of the work in each department which must be implemented prior to the soft launch of the resort. It should encompass the procedure, policy and standard SOP of each department.
2. Pre-opening financial budget
3. Post opening financial statements for next 5 years
4. Department roles and responsibilities
5. Department human resource requirements
6. Suggestion of hotel management system
7. Suggestion on accounting system that can be tied to the hotel management system
8. Suggestion on best online and offline sales and marketing strategy.
9. customer satisfaction and service recovery process
10. Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development
11. All necessary procurements (SOE and other items)
12. Any other work required prior to pre-opening
The key role is to assume that you are the pre-opening manager employed to establish all the work necessary, policy and procedures, documentation and financial projection. Thus, ensuring that the resort will be in operative condition to receive and serve guest.
