Senior/Lead PHP/WordPress Programmer

Evermore Ventures, LLC is an growing company that focuses on Internet Marketing, Web Design, and custom programming for Wordpress.

We are forming an "A" team of long term, full time positions, and you have a chance to get in with us while we are still small but quickly growing!

Specifically, we are seeking a genuine software engineer as the head of our software development team...and if you do not understand the difference between a "software engineer" and a "programmer", this is probably not the job for you.

You MUST have these technical skills:

Advanced skills and knowledge PHP & MySQL development
Advanced skills and knowledge in XML, JAX, CSS, HTML/CSS, XHTML, DHTML, Javascript, DOM, Ajax
Advanced skills and knowledge with WordPress (custom programming for plugins and integrations.)
Ability to write clean, well documented, and easily maintainable code
Experience in MVC patterns
Excellent knowledge and experience writing SQL for MySQL, and debugging performance and slow queries as required.
Knowledge of UNIX and comfortable jumping into a shell as needed
Experience working with source code control
Ability to both develop and adhere to strict coding and documentation standards

Some experience in any of the following is a huge plus:

Infusionsoft, Active Campaign, Clickfunnels, Sales Funnels, Woocommerce Development, Wordpress Plugin Development, Post Affiliate Pro, graphic creation/manipulation via Photoshop and Illustrator

Because we are seeking a highly capable software engineer to head our software development team and turn business logic into technical solutions in a high-work volume, tight deadline environment, you must also have the following capabilities:
Ability to know when and how to develop new code from scratch AND/OR adapt existing software to meet the clients' requirements

Proven ability to thoroughly test your code; you must take pride in the high quality of your work, and know that you would NEVER hand us or any client code that has not been thoroughly tested, or that you are not 99.99?rtain is working perfectly.

You must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree (any relevant course)
Ability to manage a software project to take ideas from concept to technical architecture to coding, and then all the way to live implementation

Works well in a team interacting with other employees, clients, and contractors.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Efficient typing skills (at least 50wpm touch typing)

You must understand the "big picture" - including the needs and priorities of the client(s) for each project - and know how to prioritize your time and focus to complete all projects on time and budget, at high quality, without needing us to micro-manage you.

Adaptive and always learning new and better approaches and technologies.
