creative web/graphic designer (UI/UX)

We are looking to hire a ARTISTIC and CREATIVE web/ui designer (NOT a developer) to work at our company! Your #1 skill, passion, and focus should be CREATIVE design. We prefer someone who can work in something like Sketch or Adobe XD (to design the interactivity and responsiveness) for designs. However, if you have a really CREATIVE portfolio and are willing to learn Adobe XD in the long term, we would accept mockups designed in Photoshop or Illustrator for the first few ---------- is VERY important that your portfolio and work style be creative, and unique as our company specializes in completely custom brands and websites. We do not want to see websites that look like look pre-made themes. We are super kind and awesome to work with. We will only review candidates that can show a portfolio with creative work. We want to see a good use of COLOR, TYPOGRAPHY, and LAYOUT skills. This is the most important aspect of potential we need to see in the person we hire.

We are a fun new graphic design and web development studio specializing in imaginative brands and websites for interesting people and companies. We are currently working towards opening a location in California, but for now we are a fully remote team.

We already have a graphic designer and web developer, but are looking for a web/ui designer to take our branding assets (logo, color, typography, texture, etc) and use their CREATIVITY to translate them into effective, high-fidelity web design for mobile, tablet, and desktop viewport mockups to kind of bridge the gap between our graphic designer and web developer.
