An exciting new role has come up in the marketing team of our online health and wellness group. Our business is growing and we need someone who can take customer data and create insights and knowledge about our customers. Our goal is to have a better understanding of our target audience and what makes them tick. We want to turn one-time or occasional buyers into loyal regular customers.
This is a new role so it would suit someone who has:
• Strong analytical skills and is able to work with large amounts of data
• Experience with Magento (or other e-commerce system)
• A solid understanding of Google analytics and how to get actionable data about user website sessions
• Experienced in putting customer surveys together, including what to ask and how to analyse the results and feed this back
to the team
The day to day functions would include:
• Reporting on customer purchases using our website sales data, including top products, items frequently bought together,
purchase frequency on specific products and other customer segmentation insight
• Creating regular recommendations to the marketing team including promotion ideas and customer experience
improvements based on our customer data
• Analysis of website traffic including customer journey overview, bounce rate, e-commerce conversion rate, behaviour flow,
heat mapping, so we can better understand barriers to purchase and improve overall CX
• Identify and extract customer segmentation info so we can send targeted
• Creating customer surveys so we can improve our offering including brands, products and customer experience
able to set up new reports from scratch, to deliver actionable data to our business including both our retail and wholesale
segments.
