Growth Marketer & Data Scientist

Endurance Lithium Batteries is a new Battery Ecommerce store based out of Jacksonville, FL (and later Fishing Store as well) store. Our startup is excited to start selling Marine & Recreational Vehicle (RV) Lithium LifePo4 batteries in the next 45-60 days, and have much work to do in the meantime to get ready to open up our shop.

General Qualification(s) / Experience Required:

- Good to Great Written & Spoken English
- Reliable & Strong Internet, as well as multiple options if necessary (or backup work location such as Coffee Shop).
- Willingness to work graveyard shift (US time) & work some weekends.


Benefits & Pay:

Include paying half of Social Security, PhilHealth, & Pag-Ibig Fund (in addition to salary). Benefits start on day one of employment and will be paid on a monthly basis, at the end of each month.

$10 per month internet subsidy / benefit payment.

Weekly Pay for the first two months (or first 8 weeks) of employment.


With an interest in user behaviors you draw conclusions on how to make our product better and more aligned with market needs.
You can argue convincingly for your conclusions. SQL and Python are comfortably in your toolbox and you have experience with transforming data into a format that is relevant to the problem you are solving.
You understand statistics and can use that to analyze experiments and give estimates on Upgrade to see actual info terms of work practices, you employ a growth mindset.


To be successful in this role the following is necessary:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree -- Graduates in Computer Science Engineering (statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or Business Administration) with a specific emphasis on statistics, (Big) Data mining and Data Science, etc.

You would have to strike a balance between strategic thinking and actual hands-on analyses using tools & packages such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau etc.

You possess super strong technical skills to turn big data in Teradata and Hadoop into actionable insights. At the same time, you also have the ability to think about the big picture and connect the dots to evaluate how the insights impact eBay’s Upgrade to see actual info addition to delivering insights on existing Product & Tech initiatives, you will come up with innovative product growth opportunities based on insights, and create momentum through influence.

Proactive collaboration and effective communication are critical

Knowledge of the full data mining steps from data preparation, modelling, visualization and interpretation.

Work closely with our Branding employee, graphic / digital designer, General Virtual Assistant, and myself. Must be able to work individually (or solo) as well as part of a team and transition from one type of work to the other seamlessly without issue(s).

Assist with Client / Customer Contact Database (overlaps with Email Marketing duties).

Readiness to continuously learn or improve upon skills.



Additionally, the following background and experience is preferred:


Proven track record of turning insights into product growth opportunities in prior roles with increasing scope and responsibilities

Ability to present complex analyses and insights effectively in simple terms

Good experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics – ability to build basic prototype models

Experience in a leading technology company

Background in ecommerce product experience

Experience with site experimentation (A/B testing) is a plus

Shift(s):
Graveyard shift or US shift and willingness to work some Upgrade to see actual info more than 6 days per worked per week. Willing to work 40+ hours as needed to succeed in the role.
