Virtual Assistant - Customer Happiness - Organic Produce

This is a role in a small local organic business in regional Australia, and suitable for someone with a similar interest and passion in food and healthy living. Primarily it will be order administration, customer support and marketing assistance.

You will be given extensive training over 9 months, so we are looking for someone that is going to stick around and be a long term part of our plans for the future.

What you’ll be doing:

Key tasks
Order entry from Shopify to our custom app (PakJoy) and Xero
Customer service / live chat
Answer emails in Helpscout
Manage payments through Stripe / Shopify
Simple updates Shopify products / orders
Simple graphic design work (Canva)
Manage weekly email campaigns in Klaviyo
General administration activities
Write procedure documentation for customer support
Prepare FAQs for customers

The order admin portion of the role is primarily 2 days a week, the rest of the week will be focussed on other tasks in line with the strategic direction of the business; and we can design these based on your skill set / what you’re interested in.

Full training will be provided.

Other possible tasks (subject to matching tasks with your skill set):

Recipe / article writing
Preparing and managing Instagram / Facebook posts
Maintain customer data in Klaviyo
Support business owner in content creation (e.g video and audio interviews of farmers)
Assisting owner with preparing marketing campaigns and ideas
Researching other business / product ideas to add
Simple facebook marketing


Who we’re looking for:

Excellent attention to detail and obsessive about quality of customer support
Its so important that orders are entered correctly and our system followed correctly
Manage order administration with zero errors and in timely manner
Available Monday to Friday
Can work independently
Very good communication

We are an organic food box delivery business and produce store based in a small town of Castlemaine, Victoria in Australia. We have been operating for about 15 years, delivering organic food boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables to households in the region.

We have a dedication and passion for the industry, and have a loyal team of folk working with us to achieve our expanding vision.

We are always looking at other opportunities in organic food, and have a few projects in the pipeline, so there is possibility to increase hours in other areas of the business for the right person.
